Cerrudo Services designed, fabricated and installed new floating dock guide pile connections at Station Monterey. Scope included six above-water and six underwater hot-dipped galvanized floating dock guide-pile struts, clamps and bracing plates. Temporary repairs to the existing upper brackets were made to prevent additional damage while fabrication of new parts was being completed. New upper attachment brackets with ¾” steel plate and schedule 80 pipe were fabricated and installed to replace the existing brackets. New lower (underwater) connections were fabricated and installed using a clamp method below the waterline. The existing rub-ring material for the six floating dock guide rings were replaced with shelf roller guides. The guide piles were plumbed and stabilized after replacement of the upper and lower brackets and braces.

All in-water work was completed between the allowable work window of June 1 to October 15.
