Cerrudo Services provided roof demolition and replacement at the Pool Complex, Coast Guard Training Station.  The existing tar and gravel roof system and solar panels were dismantled and removed.  Tapered insulation was installed at all eave locations, and fascia gutters and downspouts were installed.  A 60 mil PVC single ply elastomeric roof system was installed over a layer of ¼” fiberboard.  A new roof hatch, pipe boots and hooded vents were installed and flashed.  Skylights were replaced at their existing locations and rake edge coping and cap metal was installed.  Three high efficiency pool heaters and one standard efficiency pool heater were installed and vented above the roof.

A solar heating system was designed and provided for the training facility pool consisting of 72 solar panels mounted on sloped aluminum racks with concrete footings, 48 SF each.  The system included an automatic temperature control system, solar boost pumps and connection of the solar system to the existing filtration equipment.
