Cerrudo Services self performed road maintenance, debris removal and vegetation control work along border patrol roads at Fabens and Fort Hancock Stations, Texas in the El Paso Sector, know as Texas Stations.

Cerrudo surface bladed All Weather Roads (Type FC-2) and shoulders during routine maintenance activities.  Drainage ditches were excavated of silt as required and graded to drain if necessary.  Cerrudo surface bladed Graded Dirt Roads (Type FC-3) and shoulders during routine maintenance activities.  Where surface road embankments were damaged from erosion the slope was lightly scarified, moisture conditioned, imported engineered fill added and proof rolled.  Drainage ditches were excavated of silt as required and graded to drain if necessary.

Six times within the contract duration Cerrudo removed silt build-up in areas where wind and storm water erosion deposits occurred.  Abandoned silt fences and other abandoned construction debris were removed.  Domestic trash, rocks, fallen trees, loose branches, brush windfalls, logs, roots, stumps, stubs and all other loose obstructions were removed.  Debris was crushed and disposed of in an approved location off site.

Six times within the contract duration Cerrudo removed vegetation including bushes, reeds, weeds and grasses within the maintenance area by mowing or cutting down to 5” above grade.  The cut vegetative material was removed from the site daily.
